A pivot door operates on a mechanism where the door rotates on a vertical axis, or spindle, using a pivot system attached at the top and bottom of the door, allowing it to swing open and closed without relying on traditional hinges on the side of the door frame

PT Door (Slide and Swing)

Allows a door to both slide open along a track like a traditional sliding door, but also pivot at one end to swing open, providing a wider opening and greater flexibility in space usage; essentially combining the functionality of a sliding door with the wider access of a swing door.
